Questions
Asked before booking
Are you really available 24 hours a day?
Yes. We have 12 mobile technicians covering Greater London around the clock, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Lockouts do not keep office hours, so neither do we. Whatever time you call, you are given a realistic arrival time before you commit to anything.
Will you have to drill my lock to get me in?
In most cases no. The great majority of lockouts are opened non-destructively using picking, bypass or letterbox tools, which means your existing lock keeps working and you pay only for the entry. Drilling is a last resort, used mainly on high-security or already damaged locks, and we tell you before we do it and quote the replacement lock first.
Can you get me into my car and cut a new car key?
Yes. Our auto locksmiths open cars and vans non-destructively, extract snapped keys from ignitions and door locks, and cut and program replacement keys and remote fobs at the roadside for most makes. If you have lost every key we can usually still originate a new one from the vehicle, without a main dealer and without towing.
My uPVC door will not lock. Is the whole door ruined?
Almost never. A handle going floppy, or a door that only locks when lifted hard, is usually a failed multipoint gearbox or misaligned keeps rather than a failed door. We identify the mechanism, replace the gearbox and realign the door, which costs far less than a new door.
How is the price agreed?
You are given a price on the phone based on the job you describe, and the technician confirms it at your door before any work starts. If the job turns out to be different from what was described, you are told then and given the choice, never afterwards on the invoice. No call centre, no pressure selling, no surprise charges.
Which parts of London do you cover?
All of Greater London, 24 hours a day: central, north, north west, east, south east, south west and west London, plus the outskirts including Watford, Enfield, Harrow, Uxbridge, Ilford, Romford, Hounslow, Dartford, Kingston, Sutton, Croydon and Bromley.
